Finescrollsaw214 - Brougham carriage |
|
This is a very attractive Brougham carriage lavishly ornamented in the Italian style with floral motives and different mythological beings. The original Italian design has been completely reconstructed, to the point that only the fantastic ornamentation has been kept. Whereas the original design included the ornaments as overlay pieces, we have integrated these as fretwork in the sides, producing a remarkable effect when woods of different colours are used. The front wheels can be rotated and the doors can be mounted with hinges. The original design was conceived as a smokers box but we prefer you to stay healthy so the related parts have been removed, you can now use the carriage as a candies box or simply as a magnificent decoration in any room. This carriage has been designed to use 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or 6 and 3 mm wood. By scaling the pattern appropriately any other wood thickness can also be used. These are the dimensions of the carriage depending on the wood thickness you use:
