060 - Japanese filing cabinet

This is a very decorative filing cabinet in Japanese style. It is adequate to store letters and small papers like visit cards. The cabinet is ornamented with motifs recreating a Japanese garden. In the largest panel there is a place for a thermometer. The pattern is a complete reconstruction of a very old French fretwork design from around 1890.

This cabinet is designed preferably for 1/4 inches wood or for 6 mm wood. Of course it can be scaled up or down to obtain different results. The following table gives the dimensions of the cabinet depending on the wood thickness you use:

Height Width Depth
1/4 in. wood 15,5 in. 11 in. 7 in.
6 mm wood 37.3 cm 26.5 cm 16.9 cm
