059 - Japanese vase

This is a very decorative vase in Japanese style, perfect for dry flowers. The sides are ornamented with overlays with floral motifs. These overlays are very delicate and demand high precision and care from the scroller. In this design it is essential to use two contrasting wood colours to achieve a good result. The pattern is based in a very old English design that I have completely redrawn in the computer.

This vase is designed preferably for 1/4 and 1/8 inches wood or for 6 and 3 mm wood. Of course it can be scaled up or down to obtain different results. The following table gives the dimensions of the stand depending on the wood thickness you use:

Height Width
1/4 and 1/8 in. wood 14,6 in. 4,7 in.
6 and 3 mm wood 35 cm 11.3 cm

Please note that this pattern is registered and copyrighted. If you would like to have it I offer it for 9 € plus shipping. The pattern is computer made, which provides total precision, and nicely printed for convenient scrolling. Please write me to [email protected] to buy this pattern or for any questions.
